Twas the night before Rosie

I am just posting to say that I am very excited to see The View tomorrow. Also, I never would have predicted that I would have uttered those words (or written them) a year ago. A show that used to be a bunch of annoying yentas talking at full volume over each other has suddenly turned into something I don’t want to miss. I credit Rosie 100%. Somehow she has turned Barbara Walters into a cute little old lady who talks about stealing things from the White House and unfortunately, her sex dreams (Rosie, put the kibosh on that please), Elisabeth into the sweetest Republican I’ve ever seen (Rosie, I sense that she’s ripe for a change. No real Republican could possibly be that open minded. You can influence her. The time is now.) And Joy, well Joy still seems a little bitter and annoyed, but it doesn’t matter anymore! It’s all because of Rosie. (If this were a show I would do a musical number about it just for her. I wouldn’t like it, but I would do it.)

Also, no one who reads this blog is allowed to watch The Apprentice. That means you too, Kate.

Welcome to our new blog! We are here to guide you through the magical world of everything Rosie and Oprah.

We begin our journey on the eve of Rosie’s return to The View. Things have been a little too tame without Ro, and Joy’s been talking a little too much. We anticipate Rosie’s return will be chock full of new stories about her mother-in-law, her kids and decoupage. Perhaps a response to the Donald and his troll daughter? One can only hope.

In other View news, rumor has it that Sherri Shepherd is about to be named as Star Jones’ replacement – FINALLY.

It only took Babs 6 months and 600 perfectly capable, wonderful and super hot guest hosts (and Tara Reid and Shannen Doherty) to figure this one out. But we here at Ro & O commend this choice! Sherri is an awesome, soulful actress and mother to an adorable little boy with a rockin’ fro who walked out on her cheatin’ man! And she is now talking about it ALL on national TV. Bring it on Sherri!

Perhaps we should be more loyal to our dear friend Gayle King, who was also up for the job, but we’re sure Gayle will be fine do-gooding around South Africa and picking out the monthly color scheme for O Magazine. We love you GK!

Speaking of our number 1 woman – some crazy dude tried to extort 1.5 million dollars from O! That’s like 100,000 Santa Barbara trees! Or 200,000 pairs of comfortable Cole Haan boots! Leave Oprah alone, crazy people, so she can get back to saving the world.

And O, when are we getting some new shows? We can only handle so much Dr. Oz before we turn off the TV and actually exercise.
