Kate and I may have a problem blogging about Rosie on The View because apparently we both only watch Hot Topics. But since I saw that she hadn’t watched the other segments I decided to watch the interviews. There’s a reason we don’t watch them. They had an actress on, Kaley Cuoco, who plays a woman who goes “undercover” as a fat person in a movie to expose prejudice on fat people. She continued that message by defending someone as not being fat and saying, “oh no no no, she’s thin and beautiful.” She then went on to babble incessantly about how she met James Taylor’s son on Good Morning America that day and has a crush on him. Please bring on the debate about showing military coffins. I need a breath of fresh air.

YOU get a car!! (Maybe?)
Posted by Natasha on January 8, 2007
We here at Ro & O have done mostly Ro talk so far, but it’s coming up on that time of year where we have to have our most important Oprah discussion of all. It’s almost her birthday, which means it’s almost MY birthday. That’s right, it’s almost like I’m a little Oprah because we have the same birthday. I know what you’re thinking. What has Oprah gotten me? Well, I’m glad I pretended you asked that. The answer is, when you’re like me, and you share Oprah’s birthday, you don’t think like that. You’re a giver, you’re not a “what has Oprah done for me-er”. However, since I did pretend you asked, it is a good point. So like last year I am going to go to the Oprah website and under “show ideas” where they have asked me the viewer to submit show ideas, this is not unsolicited people, I will give the best show idea suggestion in the history of show idea suggestions: Have an Oprah birthday show where the entire audience is full of people like me, little Oprahs, who have her birthday. Let the audience get to celebrate their birthday Oprah style.
Now if you can believe it, after submitting my show idea last year I got no response. I did not receive a call or an email saying, “Get your ass down to Chicago, little Oprah! Happy Birthday!” I can’t help but think that my birthday fell on the wrong daytime superstar peacemaker’s. I can’t help but think that if I had Rosie’s birthday and I submitted that idea it wouldn’t be long before we were raiding candy stores and sitting on the couch laughing while watching the L Word and asking Kelli to make us some nachos. The truth is that Rosie and I have much more in common than Oprah and I. I mean for Godsakes, Oprah said that for dessert she eats half a protein bar. I can only hope that was a joke, but I know in my heart it wasn’t. Oprah doesn’t even watch television. If she hadn’t just saved the entire population of South African school girls that might have been a deal breaker. But still people you have to deal with what you are dealt, and God made me a little Oprah! So I must put our differences aside and submit my show idea. Again. Wish me luck.
Love,
Natasha “Little Oprah” Levinger

Perez Hilton posted this on his website about one of Rosie’s crafty art projects. It’s the Donald! How did we not notice?!
